The first, and best visual novel I've ever played. Started playing it around 2014 and fell in love. I've returned to this game multiple times in my life, a lot in middle school, maybe like 3 or so times in high school, and now I haven't played it in at least 5 years but its as beautiful as I remembered.

Key points to say for anyone who hasn't tried it:
- Beautiful Soundtrack to start off.
- The art and style of the game is beautiful. It genuinely makes me nostalgic for old visual novels & other arts from the late 2000's to early 2010's.
- It's writing is quite diverse. The original team had a different writer for each character route and you can feel the passion some had for the project. Not to mention each route/story is much longer than what most are used to from modern visual novels.
- The animations we get in the intro and character intros are amazing. (Made by Mike Inel) The animations are unique, well story-boarded and fits both the style and the narrative of each respective story.
- These stories dive into experiences with the cast that feel genuine and sometimes personal. The game and stories delve into the complex perspectives of disability and other issues such as adulthood, anxiety, and depression. As sad as it is to say, I had times growing up where I used this game as an escape when things got rough. Overall though, I feel it was a nice assist to both help me cope with disabilities I've experienced, both mental and physical. But also the game puts into perspective the disabilities the main cast go through.
- One odd point but i have to include it. It doesn't fall into the odd trope that modern visual novels fall into. Out of pocket horniness/perverted writing/etc,etc. Whatever you wanna call it. The "nsfw scenes" (if they're included in the steam release, i'm not sure.), are neither an after thought nor a "focus". They thematically follow the story and feel genuine. Plus they are a small amount of all the stories. No weird porn perverse sexualisation is in any of the normal writing otherwise, the scenes feel rather vulnerable and actually fitting to the stories themselves. It feels though most of the writers wanted to approach a natural feeling even to "this" kind of writing.

But, i don't wanna sperg over this too hard so ummm. Yeah! Give the game a try <3

Konami please just let us do our own keybinds. I tried this on keyboard and controller. As a fan of the snake eater, its awful how poor this port is.
Poor preset keybinds, limited pc options is putting it lightly, and a hefty price tag.
Sad how you can ruin a masterpiece like this.

Genuinely great game, only issues i wish were better are some super unbalanced characters, squads spawning next to eachother at start, and lobbies that put lvl 30's vs lvl 300+. Also I feel there are so many poor ui decisions like not being able to report someone after they'd won.

♥♥♥♥ this ass game

Just like a lot of shooter vr games, the shooting is a tad clunky. The game has had a few updates that add new content. But the first two areas were too annoying for me to want to continue. If its on sale i think its a interesting game, but nothing amazing. I think this game is for history buffs that look over the game's short comings. Not terrible, but not anything ground breaking as the bio leads you on.

T ruck fun e game

That was my review at 9 hours, I am now 100+ hours in, severely autistic, and own a wheel setup.

Zombies mode is a classic. Downside is the never changing price tag and the fact you have to download all 89 gigs, even if you just wanna play zombies.

A shockingly accurate depiction of what it was like to be a slave owner during the pre-slave abolition period. From managing money to keeping your morals, you are in a position to right the wrong doings of slavery while keeping your slaves in line. Sure they have earned their rights, but Papa's farm isn't going to work itself!

Honestly a beauty of a game, and still in development!
