Pop a long youtube video or something on one screen and pop this on another and boom keep your ADHD at bay by (slowly) collecting cute pics as you multitask.
It's pretty grindy not in a painful way just very slow. Since this is a idle game that keeps earning you money even when the game is closed i would recommend only playing this while watching something that's over a hour long and might be a bit boring then keep the game closed while doing other things so when you find yourself coming back to the game you'll have a bunch of money waiting for you which will make the game feel way less grindy.

Cosmetics you unlock and your settings do not carry over into the full game so you have to unlock it all again and change your settings again if you chose to get the full game.
The game has really janky controls that are designed for controllers so you'll need one and will need to change the deadzones if you want to actually be any good at the game, the physics also don't do the game's bad controls any favors, i would say only bother with this demo if you want to see how well the game runs on your pc and to get a feel for the controls. I do like that the demo exist since with the full game having gone up in price it makes it easier to try the game out and see if it's something you like or not but i don't think there's much point in playing the whole demo and trying to unlock the cosmetics since nothing carries over when you buy the full game so just play the first few levels and that should be all you need to know if the full game is for you or not.

Since you start the game with random topics it would be really nice if there was a reroll button to reroll the starting topics when making your first game since there is a good chance of starting with bad topics which means either sticking with the bad topics and likely not doing very well or restarting and tho restarting only takes a few seconds it's really annoying having to reenter the name of your character and company every time.
Also i wish the game showed or at least gave the option to show real dates rather then Y M W

Humankind is fine but unlike civ where i can shut off my brain and play for hours sometimes actual days at a time this game i can't really do that, and sure yes i have been playing civ for like two decades but it's more that civ is simple and easy to understand so you can turn off your brain and play for hours where humankind is not as clear on what is happening and how things work so turning off my brain just leaves be clueless on whats going on, not confused just not sure what i'm actually meant to be doing out side of building cities and fighting, endless legends had the same issue for me, if you're a fan of endless legends you'll likely be fine and enjoy the game but if you're a civ player on the other hand like me thwn this might not be for you,also not having a minimap is really bad. Also games like these live and die on their mods and this game seems to have very few.

The driving is really really really really really bad and will be the number one thing that's gonna make players not want to play the game because it's just so bad, devs if you read this please update the driving it doesn't have to be crazy good but it does need to be better than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which is what it is now also something that would make a great QoL is either having a pop up when ever you place an item down for sale that lets you quickly set the sell price or have the game remember what the last price you set for said item was and auto set the price to the same price you last set it to. The game is also pretty glitchy but i wont make a big deal about that as they'll likely get fixed in future updates, hopefully, it is super annoying trying to carry something only for it to fly off into the sunset. Also a way to reset your car is needed i got my van stuck on an headset and not even ramming it with my truck got it unstuck

The procedural generation is pretty bad for rooms, i started a game in a bar and every room from the 3rd floor up had nothing in them at all, things will also spawn in front of doors bloocking them and things can spawn in ways where if you get behind them without a saw to dismantle them or a mod to pick them up and move them than you will actually just be stuck forever. And you'll often find bathrooms that randomly have showers just in the middle of the room for no reason.

Combat is pretty awkward and if you're zoomed out while you're attacked then you better zoom back in quick or run because trying to do melee combat while zoomed out is pretty much impossible but aside from those two things its pretty good, would be nice if there were some tool tips when hovering over stuff with your mouse though

Another one of those games where i lose track of time and waste the day away or stay up all night playing without realising

If you like loading bars that barely move then this is the game for you because there is a whole lot of loading in this game, swapping to dx11 and disabling the steam overlay will speed up load times slightly and fix audio sync issues but there is still glitchy audio when coming into cut scenes (for me anyways) and man is it bad but only in cut scenes when characters talk out side of cut scenes it works fine, also if you're on a lower end pc you will likely find limbo to be unplayable with how laggy it is if this is the case for you just look down and hold forward and you should be fine.

Roads and builder's were better in 5

would be nice to have the ability to save kingdom and village names to a list for quick renaming or have it so the game remembers what names you've used if you replay the same map and something is settled where you had renamed something before so when a village is settled there again it just uses the name you used before rather then just using a random base name, saving you the time of not having to rename stuff all the time.
