The controls could be a bit awkward but I could deal with that. I was only getting partial audio: some battle sounds from units, no music, no voiceover. It was too distracting to actually enjoy the game. I tried updating drivers and three different audio devices, even running as administrator on a longshot. Nothing.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, having played a lot of its predecessors, but I just couldn't get into it because of sound issues.

So many negative reviews, but given their trouble I can't blame them, and I want to be purely objective. The game is good. Yes there's a DLC in early access, but frankly I don't care. This is a polished game for early access, and the DLC isn't some low quality nonsense, it's good stuff. They haven't stopped development for the main game, which is still just as good. Nobody is forcing anybody to buy the DLC. I've read complaints about it being unbalanced that dragons can be brought into a center map, but that's only if it's allowed on the server. It's a good game, people are being unreasonable.
