The art is charming and the story seems interesting. The biggest issues I find are the fact that playing solo is super unbalanced and you actually feel lik the game punishes you for playing alone.. And even if you want to play local co-op, you're limited, because you and your friend/friends aren't even allowed to share the same controller/mouse. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A CONTROLLER OF YOUR OWN!? So the chance of actually playing this with multiple people in local co-op is slim and from what I've read, there are a lot a problems with online co-op.

I want to play this game, I really do, but with the game punishing you for playing solo it isn't fun, because you're so very limited with the movement when you only have 1 character to move about. And getting friends to pay this much for the game themselves only to play a buggy online co-op, I can't justify that. Either fix the online co-op or make it possible to play local with only 1 controller, that way people can at least easily enjoy the game by playing it with multiple characters without having to switch controller.

Pretty visuals, relaxing gameplay and amazing replayability.

Great game, but if the choice is between Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous, go with WotR. It's this game but better and way more epic.

A lot of people seem to hate this Beta, I don't really understand it. Has it changed since Alpha? Yes, but it has also been 6 years, ofc. it's going to change when it's been so long. I don't mind the changes, I love this game. It's great. It has so much replayability.

I will say, that I hope they're going to add more customization later on and maybe add the ability to change up your character in towns or something. Being able to dye your armor and such would be pretty great at well. I'm looking forward to be able to follow this game's progress again. <3

Also.. A way to color the waypoint stars would be very helpful to find the place you want to go. ~

This is a great game. I never played the original Hammerwatch, but this game is so much fun and I love that you can play the game with your friends.

I would recommend this game even to people who don’t usually play dating simulators. It is full of hours of fun, because it doesn’t take itself too seriously and competing against your friends because you all want to go to prom with Vera (Often ends up with everyone being rejected, but you know… At least Christian didn’t get her either!)

It’s filled to the rim with different references and silly, obscure plotlines. One of the greatest thing about this game is that you don’t have to get people to buy the game for them to try it out. (However I strongly recommend buying it if you do like it, the dev team is super hard working and they even release a punch of free, new content in updates. Yay!)

So remember to be just like Scott; be a good boy and buy the game so you can join the rest of us as we wait for Monster Camp with excitement. WINK

Normally I would give this game a thumbs up, but since the app was introduced the game has been ruined by tons of bots.. You can only avoid them by buying Coven or by playing Ranked.. But Ranked eliminates the opportunity to play with friends..
