15/10 One of the best games to ever grace humanity, if not just the best overall. This game is absolutely incredible in every aspect. Please do yourself favour and buy this masterpiece. Even if it's your first souls-like, please give it a shot.

By far one of my favourite games of all time. This game is a detailed masterpiece, and has a special place in my heart for being the first Soulsbornekiro game I ever played.

A true masterpiece about patience and overcoming adversity. Anyone that doesn't love this game inside and out just never had the strength to git gud. No matter how good you are, prepare to die.

This game is over hyped, underwhelming garbage. The writing is awful and is akin to a thirteen year old's first attempts to start a D&D campaign, and there isn't even engaging or half decent gameplay to prop it up. I've beaten this game many times since it's release in 2011 on PS3. I've played through it on PS3, Xbox360, PS4 and now PC hoping that in each new playthrough I would "get it" and finally understand why this buggy, poorly written pile of garbage was so famous and all I can say is now that I've 100%'d the game, I still don't get it. I will admit, I had fun playing the game at some points. For instance, the Dragonborn DLC was fantastic, and Aprocrypha is an amazing, visually interesting change of pace and scenery from the regular bland environments of Skyrim.

The graphics in this game are also awful and have always been awful. My most memorable experience was booting it up for the first time on my PS3 way back in 2011, hyped beyond belief after I had just beaten Oblivion for the umpteenth time in preparation for Skyrim's release. I couldn't see what Bethesda had in store for me. My very first impression upon loading into the game was "wow this looks like ♥♥♥♥, this is worse than Oblivion". The graphics sucked when it released, and after a million re-releases and remasters, they still suck. The game doesn't look good, it doesn't feel good to play, and the writing is atrocious.

The only time I've ever had a truly good time playing Skyrim is when it's modded to ♥♥♥♥ and is unrecognizable to the original game. "bUt ThAt'S wHaT mAkeS sKyRiM sO gOoD, tHe MoDs!" I hear you say. No, Skyrim is fundamentally garbage. If a game has to be fundamentally changed from the ground up, or have entirely new content added to it in order to become a half decent finished product, the game isn't good, the modders are. Skyrim and Bethesda deserve zero credit for the astounding success of the game, as it had been built entirely on the backs of the modders who made it what it is. Skyrim is good sand, but it is an awful sandcastle.

I can't give this game more than a 4/10 as each quest is just painfully poorly made, and the game and story are written in a way that it is almost annoying to watch. Please don't inflict this game on yourself, go play the Witcher 3.

TL:DR Bad writing, gameplay, graphics. Don't bother, even mods don't make it worth it.

This game is probably the first one to get me truly hooked in a good year or so. It is addictive, challenging af, and the music is incredible. One of the best games this year by far.

Great game, especially for just being in BETA at the time of leaving this review. Can't wait to see more map and gear variety down the road. Overall super excited for the future of this game. Love it!!!
