Lovely game.

Aesthetically it can't be stated enough how beautiful it is. Each environment was wonderfully crafted and a joy to progress through.

Combat is fun and intuitive, though it does wear itself thin towards the later stages of the game. To break it up it sprinkles in platforming and puzzle sections which are decent enough distractions, barring some annoying spikes at times.

Voice work is a mixed bag, but the main cast (Dust, Fidget and Ahrah) do a fine job. Fidget in particular was the highlight for me. Brilliant delivery, and had some excellent lines that kept me listening to her. "MASH THE BUTTONS!"

The story definitely gets cheesy toward the end (plus a little bit of dialogue inconsistency), but it's treated with respect and the VA's make it work.

Overall it's an excellent game that I never got round to playing properly, and I'm glad I did.

Would've loved to recommend this game as it seems cool, but unfortunately game breaking slow motion bugs that are impossible to get around prevent me from playing past chapter 2. Something like this should be fixed by now.

Although the game has simple mechanics, it's a very intense and challenging game that does one thing very well; provide insanely fun gameplay. The soundtrack is also fantastic. The character design is a bit uninspired, and the animation at points is a bit less than what you would expect, but all that doesn't really matter when you're having such a brilliant time.

There's future content on the way as well, so I would definitely recommend picking this up, especially during a sale. Absolutely thrilling experience if you've got a group of friends to duke it out with.
