No one can register an API key on your account if they don't have access to it.

Simply put, secure your account and don't give away your account details.

That way, you don't / won't have to worry about someone authorizing a web API key.

Support just will not restore them. They could but it is not in their job description.
The Global mods are working on restoring some of the +1k posts. A huge job I didn't ask for but am grateful for. I'll have to thank them all for assisting with this soon.

They need to also hold their horses with the post / comment removal with community bans.

As far as the automated ban is concerned, they need to completely stop that process.

I get that community bans are issued for blatant spamming, and they want the posts to be removed in conjunction with it—but in falsepositives, it's entired screwed up, since to my knowledge, they cannot restore anything under any circumstances (correct me if i am wrong).

Definitely some polishing needed there, and this can happen to anyone, basically if you post constantly.

AFAIK, though I could very well be wrong. Mods have the ability to see your bans regardless of their nature, as does support staff. If that is the case, they can see those community bans as well.

So if they see a list of 4 bans, even if 3 are automated and utter garbage, they still see 4 bans. And seeing how 3rdparty have a history of not giving a ♥♥♥♥ about context, it would be rather safe to assume that they'll not bother beyond "this guy has 4 bans, next step is a month" or whatever banlength that is next.

@Gilga ™... A few saw the ban and made inquiries before I had a chance to. Spawn restored posts in a thread where he noticed the removed content.

@Froggy... There are no Community Messages about the bans so, I don't know exactly what they do. Seeing as they are/were 1 week bans (all 3 mentioned), it does look like they are not keeping them for future reference. And from what I was told, the auto bot ban for spam is a 1 week ban anyways.

Did you have the bans removed from your history as well? Otherwise you'll have them count against you in the future. Seeing how the 3rdparty mods don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about context.

What a mess, i really hope somebody from Valve can help you, or at least a mod that can contact a Valve member via pm.
