This is suffering from a myriad of issues from awful pop in STILL to the same handful of vehicles spawning and horrendous feeling movement in both vehicles and on foot, I am disappointed to say the least.

Update for the December 2022 talents rework, They've decided to be boisterous for this talent rework update and claim that they added 50 "new" talents when all they did was rearrange things around in the perk tree and adding a prerequisite perk table as a buffer before you go down the line of a tree, changes up some perks for both the better and the worse and then they of course added new items and perks to accomodate them mostly for the mechanic. I mean I'm just getting tired of this it feels like they are edging closer to being creatively bankrupt because I'm just not impressed with the updates anymore other than the fixes. I hate the balancing, I hate how they keep stripping things from the game that give it character and replacing it with some half assed bandaid if they even do that. I still love this game.
I just don't know what to say other than I am disappointed.

Below is my revised review from the early Summer:
For the past year changes have been introduced to the game that neuter the game experience and make the game more arcade like, with other odd changes that have been made on whims of whiny players or ones that make the game needlessly more difficult to compensate for the goofy things that have been done. For instance I really don't like how the skill tree has been implemented with the clown perks being the better examples. One thing I hate is that you used to be able to switch sonar at the helm with a key bind but that has been completely removed from the game.
Another thing I dislike is the sprite overhauls for characters and NPCs, I liked the old style far better and the newer look of them looks so out of place and on top of it all, uglier, This is more opinionated on my end but I think its not a stretch to say it clashes with the looks of the game.
The recent update is really infuriating, the shoddy rework of the economy that pretty much destroys it, the neutering of the different load outs of classes in servers, making duffel bags one handed (I think the deterioration mechanic is a nice idea but not enough other things are in the game to compensate for it like making duffel bags) and the minor change of removing batteries from headsets.
I have shoddily thrown this review together and I hope to play through the campaign again and give it a more thorough one in the near future

I understand it when maybe one character is more powerful than the other but when there's an objective superior-to-every-god characters that can practically instant kill while the rest are left in the dust it pushes the game to be awful

Love the game but the hit boxes are lame and some of the bosses are overly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in their attack set and if they hit you or not. I think of it as, dark souls isn't hard because its difficult rather its hard like how unfair Mario is hard, unexpected ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you slowly slough through and learn from. Sometimes all I can say is ♥♥♥♥ this game and its entirety and other times i'm like yes I love it.

I almost skipped out on this game but decided to get it in a sale and I'm happy I did, this game drew me in and I played it nearly nonstop for multiple days though now I'm out of things to do in the game unless I just want to keep hunting which I very may well do.

My only complaints is a lack of content and loading zones, intense lag regarding them and when I close the game it lags my pc for a couple minutes and I simply cannot alt f4 the program. I love the game already though I kind of want to try other submarine sims.

After 80+ hours of game time my original review which I made at 10 hours, not counting the console port (The console port REALLY needs that silent hill fog re-added to it for it to be tolerable) I have come back to revise it, The games constantly being updated and improved upon and while the word still looks like Michigan IRL its not terrible on the eyes. However I still have issues with the roughness of building things and how some vehicles handle like a space shuttle hurling itself into a fiery death from orbit, its still great fun.

The game is equivocal to a free mobile game with no sustenance of game play to stand on. Its not engaging at all.

The maps nice, the story exists I guess, the gameplay is meh, the game mechanics are nice but movement feels wonky and combat is OK.

This is like a $2 game, not a $10 (on sale) game let alone the base price of $30.
