a closer comparison would be DayZ

after playing CB1 and CB2, the Loot rebalance killed any interest of me playing the game.
These games aren't meant to be primarily KILL ON SIGHT - but this game is
when playing as a solo player, saving up and getting the purple armor/weaponry was extremely satisfying, and i felt relatively safe, in CB1/2
now? I get 1/2 hit with the manticore (less than 8 bullets) and basic gray shotguns as they nerfed the everloving heck out of the armor.

Now, when i want to play the game, its gambling. the ante is starting gear, and its a complete waste of time to "farm" for things that are above the green level of item level

are there more enemies than me? yes? im dead
no? i have a chance
did they shoot at me first? did they do 50+ dmg? im dead
