Everything this game does better than previous games, it does another two things wrong.

That being said though, with expansions (and I stress only with expansions.) this is still a fun, addicting, and enjoyable Civ game, especially with friends. Since it definitely seems like this was built around multiplayer rather than against AI, because the AI in this game is absolutely awful. But with mods tweaking their behavior, and the expansions, they aren't as dumb any more.

Get this game ONLY if you find a deal with the expansions. The base game is shallow and lacking.

Made Doc Mitchell at the beginning. Killed the real Doc Mitchell and took his place for the next 3 hours. Just sitting there.

Worth every penny.
