So far only done two matches and both had a bunch of cheaters ruining it. So games seems decent but full of cheaters. Takes multiple times to connect sometimes. How is this rated positively?

It's looking good as long as the updates keep coming as they should. The fact enemies can spawn in cleared areas and right behind you is pretty suck, that's probably the biggest issue I've seen. The second worst thing is that if someone dc's maybe give them a minute to reconnect. The game crashes and you're just done instead of being allowed to maybe come back. Perhaps having some player specific drops so player's don't hoard all the ammo from other players would be good too.

Feels fine and fun to play but it's full of bots.

It's only issue is being a bit linear and being just a bit too short. If there was a second act after the initial that would be great but as it is it's still a pretty good game with great sprite work. I'm sure if you're a fan of Lodoss this is an amazing game it's easily better than almost all other anime related games. 8/10 There's elves inside.

Too easy and simple. No environmental storytelling, no bodies no blood nothing just very tame and not all tense QTE's. Does a bad job at showing it's message. Plays like a 10 minute game that was made in 10 minutes.

Pretty good game if we're being honest. One of the few Gacha I've played that actually has me playing it and coming back to it instead of feeling bored with the entirety of it. Designs are good but I wish we could swap main guns and get a few more game modes.

Also wish ranked wasn't just demolition. Really lame and I don't think it's a good way to measure things, also demo sucks lets be real. Haven't seen any of the cheaters people talk about myself but I'm just one person. Also the playerbase is a bunch of degens but not the fun kind just the creepy kind can't imagine that helping people stick around lol.

Would be pretty nice with some polish and less people talking about feet every two seconds, maybe the censorship not being so aggressive either. Otherwise it's still fine and entertaining.

I have a gaming PC with a 4070 super an i9 and 64gb of ram, this PC is pretty strong and this game stutters and lags like I'm running it on a compaq presario, I don't know what's going on, I know I'm not the only one, this feels like a problem that shouldn't be so constant. Playing the game is sometimes really hard due to the FPS drop

It's a good game but I wouldn't recommend until these performance issues are fixed. Also nerf Scarlet witch, the auto lock on with the double untargetable movement abilities is bs.

Gonna keep it as short as I can TLDR for obvious TLDR and below that is a longer review.. I've played this game a lot.

TLDR: This is a good game that has more built in variety than L4D just no mod support and a lesser versus. It lets you build card decks to make a class for your to play in your way and the survivors have perks to help with those builds. One of the main downsides is that the Special infected aren't distinct enough for me and others to tell them apart visually at a glance. It's more than worthy for a successor to L4D that you will likely enjoy it with some friends looking for a good co-op game, If you're not looking at it with some super biased glasses.

People are way too harsh on this game, yea it lacks somethings from L4D/L4D2, but what it lacks is mainly mod support, lacking versus and some survivor dialogue to help things stay fresher in those ways. This game offers a good challenge and plenty of content when you compare it to L4D games when they released and after not counting mod support. The gameplay feels much better.

Even beating Veteran when the difficulties were jacked up. And at almost 250 hours I found maybe one bug where I was halfway into a building. The AI feels no dumber to me than L4D AI or even AI in plenty of other games (RDR2's AI is pretty dumb and on par or dumber than B4B). I still have to do 98% of the work when playing singleplayer. Recently played L4D and most people are definitely looking at it with rose tinted glasses. Most of any issues I encountered were long ago during the games launch. Just play it as it's own thing people often try to constantly compare instead of enjoying things as their own thing. I'm aware I'm doing that to a degree here.

The decks and weapons along with character passives allow you to play how you want and gear yourself towards a playstyle that you enjoy instead of "just I guess I have a shotgun or assault rifle." or "Yea I sure am Ellis that plays the exact same as Rochelle or Francis." Beyond dialogue the characters have no depth in terms of gameplay. I'm aware that what the cleaners have isn't much but it's something. One has slightly better dialogue and one has better characters gameplay wise. Being able to actually augment your weapons is a big plus for B4B on top of the decks.

B4B takes nothing away from L4D, if you enjoy L4D more then go keep playing it no ones stopping you. But all this negativity seems to stem from weird personal need to bash on something people didn't mesh with because they didn't even want to like it.

Game works like it did on Vita and now I can play with an Xbox controller so that's nice. Small slow down so far is the only issue. If you do have problems running it in admin mode has fixed a lot of issues for people.

Also there's no AI in this. You can tell who didn't play this before or who doesn't know what AI is. Hear anything robotic and y'all start freaking out.
