Yes, its vastly different from other civs but I'm enjoying the new gameplay style. As always the game continues to get better with each update, so if you want to ride along buy it now or if not then wait until next year for all the tweaks to settle in.

I thought I had finances under control with my spreadsheets of doom and forecasting for the future (which encompased planning out the entire months paychecks in advance).

One prinicple from You Need A Budget that is worth all the money in the world is BUDGETING THE MONEY YOU HAVE NOW not WHAT YOU ARE EXPECTING TO GET.

Bought this back in 2013 and have gone through a full year with this program... I cannot describe the feeling of having all next months bills and living expenses paid for before it even starts.

Buy it. Work it. And be prepared for the next Steam Sale.
