In 2 years they'll discontinue service for the servers. Meaning you can't play your own player, in an offline mode, in 2 years from the 2kxx date, because they're run by a money hungry corporation. No matter that you spend 70 hours playing every game of the season, and still haven't finished one season because you play 10 minute quarters to make it fun. Developers are great, gameplay is great, but the lack of support so you buy the new one is corporate greediness that makes me want to vomit.
