This is a great Visual Novel, it has:
  • unique gameplay (although it does get repetitive, the gameplay isn't the standout aspect of this game for good reason, as it's primarily a VN)
  • enjoyable and varied characters
  • beautiful visual style that I feel is perfectly executed
  • an outstanding soundtrack that really ties together that cyberpunk synthwave feel.

Absolutely adored this game.

Although it's on the shorter side if you manage to play through it thoughtfully enough. There are still chances to see different scenarios play out if you play a certain way and I'm glad for that. I definitely recommend VA-11 Hall-A based on its story and soundtrack, it is a quick and great experience if your itching for something cyberpunk the way I did.

Dead By Dead Game is a really fun game but more people need to play it. I feel like this is one of the most cerebral games I've played even though it is all about mechanical skill. I really enjoy playing this game a lot and I definitely won't drop it anytime soon.

Early Access Review
I absolutely ADORE Quake. Started playing with Quake III Arena and spent many many years playing Quake Live afterwards. When I saw Quake Champions I was hit with two sides of the coin.
On one hand I love the new ability system as well as how the devs have made it easier for newer folk to get into the game and learn the mechanics while still maintaining a decently high skill ceiling.
I bought this game with the 30 dollar Champion pack and I don't regret my decision for doing so as this game is fantastic. But the problem I have is how small the player base has been since Early Access started...
Long wait times in queue and many matches with the same person over and over, I wasn't too happy with where the game was at that point. but with this new free week access that has come to the game I am much more excited to get back into the game and see where it goes from there.
