A very enjoyable game overall with very few flaws. Overall the story is well written and makes you feel for the legionaries under your command, and makes you feel invested in their survival and their state in the game. The missions are fun although slightly repetitive after some time, especially when you finally have a decent number of experienced soldiers. The resource management system is good although if you are to loot everything upon your path as I did, on the Commander difficulty and no modifications, it makes the game very manageable with very little rationing or resource sacrificing needed. I do wish that there was a easier way to upgrade the train as you go, or more risk/reward type encounters to make it so you can fully upgrade the train without having to stop for every resource along the way.

The main gripe for the game is the combat system, which while it is a good system, takes a decent amount of time to get used too with unfortunately too little of a tutorial for the system, and especially its stealth mode. There is a early game mission Infiltrate the Red Camp that revolves around stealth, however its stealth system is not explained until after said stealth mission. Also there is one class in particular that makes the game almost laughably easy at times, which is the Scout class with the camouflage and ghost perks which allow you to clear a map almost as a one man army. And if you have multiple with the Critical Shot perk it makes it even easier.

Overall though I would recommend the game for anyone who enjoys RTS strategy games, as it is a very enjoyable game to play. Also play on the Immersive dialogue/voice option, as it has much more emotion to it that the English voices.

I have been playing and following this game for the last 4 years and all I can say is that is is simply a Masterpiece. The Atmosphere of the game, the mechanics, everything just blends so well. I will say that the Sandbox/Survival Mode is where it is at, not that the story mode is bad, but it is still in development and not as raw of a experience as the survival mode.

With the survival mode, you can spend hours trying to get situated and survive, only to have it all taken away from 1 simple mistake. This is part of what makes the experience so enjoyable though, as it is makes you play like your life is actually at risk. I have never run into any glitches that takes away from the game play, and never that can be exploited. There are times when the wildlife mechanics get a little weird, but it can be forgiven as it does not break the realism. Also, with the different difficulties it can make for a entirely different game play experience from one to another, making it so you experience something different each time you load a new world. However, it is very easy to lose yourself and spend a couple of hours in the game, as every move you make could lead to your demise, so you really need to be thinking 3 or 4 steps into the future.

Overall I think that the art style, the environment, and the mechanics make this game a modern masterpiece, and I have no doubt that with the continued support for the game it will keep getting better and better.

I liked the Heist, but in the end for whatever reason a huge explosion went off and gave away my stealth. Dont know if C4 bug or what, but other than that it is a great heist.

Its great, just try not to do something stupid while playing.
