A must-have for your SteamVR install.

- Dedicated switch task button, no more going to your keyboard for alt+tab or your second monitor's taskbar to check your sudden 8 discord notifications
- Multiple displays at once
- Fairly light on memory and GPU, doesn't swallow your framerate whole like the oculus/meta overlay's virtual desktop
- Extended keyboard that includes keys that Valve seemingly forgot exist
- Custom macro buttons
- F-R-E-E that spells FREE (open-source too)

Early Access Review
Fun, when it works.

The game's concept is great and is executed quite well, however is extremely buggy and NOT worth the $20 price tag.
Game crashes and memory leaks, on both oculus and steam clients, and plain bad fps despite decent hardware.

Controls are a bit strange, especially when it comes to jumping, and are hard to fully grasp, making it easy to fall off of buildings. A shame I cant learn how to move properly when the game decides to have a permanent loading screen after dying and use 12GB of RAM for no reason or just straight-up crash. Or if neither of those happen, it will just drop to an unplayable framerate upon respawning until restart.

Enemies are too slow (movement speed and reaction time) and are less of a threat than falling off a building, gun holster position is for some reason below your neck rather than at the hip or shoulders, reloading is boring as you just put it below your hip level but it at least makes sense for the very fast-paced gameplay.

Overall this just feels like an overgrown VR "temple runner"-style mobile game with shooting tacked onto it, I almost regret owning this despite getting it for free.

A good shooter with great gameplay, here are a list of things i enjoy.

-Great hitboxes, better than CS:GO's could ever be
-Creative community
-Ability to make almost anything
-Easy to use mapping & weapon skin creating
-Destructible blocks
-Fast & slow paced gameplay (ranging from shotguns and mp5's in a small area to sniping and carrying an m240 to rip through the building the enemy's in)
-Can run on almost any computer
-Easy to make public/private unofficial games
-Workshop support for easy to download skins and maps
-Dynamic shadows making a voxel game look amazing
-Great optomization
-Diverse amount of servers from New York & Chicago to the EU & Singapore
-Great & awesome soundtrack, really makes you pumped for the next battle and i could listen to it for hours.
-no matter if you have 50 ping or 150 ping it feels the same, virtually no teleporting or rubber-banding even on a full server
-Great balancing, no weapon is too OP
-6 Fun gamemodes (Deathmatch: basically free for all Team deathmatch: self explanatory Assualt: attack vs defense Capture the flag: self explanatory Hunt: finding the amount of an item while being like tdm Castle battle: building fortifications while defending treasure chests)
-Fun fortification building (Demonstration: Before & After) (Note: in the Before photo i forgot to turn on dynamic shadows since i play with them off for optomisation reasons)
-3D sound for headphones to know where that grenade bounced to
-Non-Steam Modding community for textures and sounds

Things i mildly dislike

-Mouse accerleration with sniper scope (scope still moving even when my mouse comes to a full stop, like badly simulated scope sway)
-Small community, i wish this got more attention
-Bad/boring maps ending up in the workshop servers (the workshop servers choose the most popular maps on the workshop and choose to use those maps, just because it's popular, doesn't mean that it's that fun to some people.)
-People thinking this is just minecraft with guns, just because it uses voxels, doesn't mean its a copy of minecraft, theres more than what meets the eye at first glance. Don't Just take my word for it. See Here
-Developers essentially stopping development, making no new content since the Workshop Servers Update in April of 2016, maybe they will come back from their hiatus?
-Slow health regeneration

As you can see there are more pros than cons, so you should consider buying this game if you have a couple bucks laying around. However there is still work to be done with this gem in the rough.

Note: you can download my M60 MMG from my workshop in the demonstration pictures

TL;DR Paraphrased:
Great graphics for a voxel game with great servers although a small community.
Almost infinite possibilities with people still playing, although with no new updates since 2016.
Good fun for an affordable price.

My Rating: 7.6/10

My last review of this game was made around Q4 2016 when i only had 171 hours played, now that 3 years have passed i'll take another look in the game.

This is THE ultimate sandbox game, the only limits are what people upload to the workshop and your imagination. With literal hundreds-of-thousands of addons to use.

The Good

Addons

This brings a near-endless amount of maps, models, weapons and tools to play around with either by yourself or with friends, make a flying car with thrusters, maybe some deathmatch with guns, make a scene with some ragdolls.

Easy To Run

Have some old laptop from 2009 with 3GB of ram? a Windows Vista desktop with an aging Core2 Duo? A more recent computer but running on Intel HD Graphics? Still using an AMD FX processor? Yes even all 4 of these could reasonably run this game, even if you fill your hard drive with hundreds of addons.

The Bad

Certain Communities

While there are nice people you can and probably will find playing this game, there are places to avoid, such as generally RP servers which are filled with toxic and cancerous people most of the time that will either attempt to split your eardrums open screaming into their mic or kill you for no reason. (I personally just play sandbox with friends to avoid this, I've probably only spent ~300 hours on dedicated servers.)

Loading

If you don't have the near-exact addons that a server, or other friend has, you're gonna have a bad time with loading. I've had to wait upwards of 20-30 minutes to join a friends game only to see errors every other minute. However there is a fix to this

Conclusion

Although there are some problems, this is a great sandbox game with zero limits, and i'll keep my rating, 9.7/10
