Personally for me I'm biased towards the game, as I have always loved AoE2 since a child and is one of my childhood games. DE, while I didn't like some of the changes in art at first, quickly grow on you and you soon forget that this wasn't the original graphics for the game. The game is being updated regularly and is in my opinion still the best RTS game out there and has more than stood the test of time with flying colours.

If you're looking for a good RTS game that you can sink time into, this is a great one, especially if you enjoy some amount of old history. Or if you just enjoy medieval themes in general.

All in all, a good game. still milking itself as a "open beta", which I personally dislike, shouldn't really be in that, Oh well, can't do much about it. A cash shop ingame shouldn't be in any Open beta game, that's something yoou put in a finished game. Which I would say this is.

Obviousely, still needs tweeking like all games, some champions are still favourable over others due to combo's or their special attacks being better etc. I like the idea of each champion being 'unique' but that also opens more room for straight up better champions.

The only bad things currently in this game is people who get salty too easily cuz they lost and the horrible connections for the brawlhalla servers. I have one of the best internet connections in my area in the UK and it's decent enough to do neerly anything internet wise. The one exeption being Brawlhalla. There's litterally no reason for it, it just has massive lag spikes of 1bar connection for a while in games. No idea why. The only real idea I have is it may be something to do with the game matching you with people who are outside of your county, This should be fixxed in a manner of if you selected only EU or US then you only connect to that playerbase and no others. and the there is what ever they have for trying to 'fix' lag in games to make it a level playing field. which works horrible. It's pretty much a slow, boring and frustrating game of "it said my attack hit, not you killed me" because suddenly your falling into the void and ded, either for you or the other player.

Though aside from a few champions needing rebalancing and needing some sort of impeckable net connection to avoid ping issuse with people from other servers it's a good game, it's free, defenetly worth playing. Possible worth supporting if you have the money to spare/throw away.
