If you like games such as civ but yearn for more customization and fluid gameplay, with some smart writing and self made stories on the side then this is definitely the game for you.

The mechanics are deep, but the game itself plays smoothly, even a new player can understand how to synergize as well and why others are synergizing.

The little events truly give the game more character as well, as an example; my industrialist empire focused on strict military tradition and producing top notch, expensive military warships, dug up the remnants of a colossal ship that was worshipped almost like a deity by a dead civilization. We proceeded to use it as the front of our armada as an icon before eventually becoming more spiritualist and religious ourselves, turning my empire into something akin to the techno-priests from warhammer 40k.

Solid game. Not for everyone though, gets a bit micro heavy at times.

A very rich game with an amazing soundtrack that chills you to the bone in a good way. Looks amazing and tells it story visually very well, if you aren't meant to know something that is intentional, the feel of curiosity is entwined within the clear goal you have.

9/10

my only issue is replayability but this game will stick with me for years to come.

This game is one of the few that scratched my sudden desire for a building game. Tried Sims, enjoyed it but gets a bit repetetive.

In Prison architect there is something to do all the time, be it expanding/improving your prison, researching new things, supplying your prisoners needs or doing the opposite and keeping them in a constant state of agitation, the thing keeping the peace being your guards, gunmen and snipers.
