8.5/10, here's why:

Okay, so here comes a not so ordinary review, seen from a guy that plays games like this to do 100%. I want all possible story, lore and collectables.

Earlier today, I just finished 100% of three of the planets. I thought to myself, "This is probably a good time to end it for today, it's almost 9PM". That was 7 hours ago and I've now done two more planets 100% before noticing that it's now 4AM.

This game reminds me of Ratchet and Clank, a game I used to love as a kid. It does a lot of things great, a few alright and a few really poorly, so here's a short summary:

+ Great story
+ Great graphics, insane in cinematics
+ The small talk between the characters
+ BD-1
+ Collectables
+ Unlockable player power (both in "talents" and more lore-wise)
+ Hey, it's canon. That's more than you can say about a lot of other Star Wars games.

Decent: The combat is, pretty ok. It's satisfying, but animals are way too difficult or way too easy. Bosses/mini-bosses tend to stunlock you, which is extremely frustrating.

- As stated above, stunlocking bosses
- Locked camera during some parts
- The map is good, but it still needs improvements (Show chests/collectables which you have taken)
- Make it more apparent when you can't reach a collectable due to missing "powers"
- Random framedrop/freezes when exiting menus
- The sliding controls are one of the worst I've used. Luckily, it's not a major part of the game.

The conclusion? It's a great game, especially for €36. For me, someone who enjoys collecting items, getting 100% and loving Star Wars, the game was more "When should I buy this", instead of "Should I buy this".

PS. Even if the game was terrible, I'd give it 5/10 simply because of the pleasure of yeeting ♥♥♥♥ of the edges with Force Push.
