Initially allowed players to upload VRMs over the base model which also included animations (if one purchased the first dlc, I would assume. I didnt purchase the DLC and hadn't gotten into custom animations yet.) This feature is also what got alot of users to download and upvote.
As of the 2/4/25 update, ironically the new Miku Skin drop date, the dev decided to disable modding entirely. So this review will reflect that of the newest update.

The basic avatar is a commonplace VRoid edit with a basic animation that shows hearts when you shake your mouse sometimes.
Her, or the only other two skins, Miku and another Miku variant, sit around on the top bars of your windows. You can adjust their size and also drag them off screen where they wait for you to put them somewhere. When your game is fullscreen they sit on an invisible taskbar at the bottom.
All this is great and really sets a base for a free download. However, I can't recommend this title anymore because at its current state, it is bare bones.

My recommendation as of 2/7/25: Revert back the modding decision and lock animations and extra features behind paywalls. (since thats where it feels the dev wants to go.) win/win for both sides.
