I wholeheartedly recommend this game, it's a solid improvement on Crusader Kings 2 in a variety of different ways.
Having played Crusader kings 2 for roughly five thousand hours, i am a little disappointed that this sequel doesn't have ruler designer, there's also a few features that failed to carry over, the artifact system for one.
The fact that you can't see the title history for kingdoms, counties nor duchies.

You won't be able to name your grand children, great grand children and so on as we're used to via the customization pack from CK2, which is disappointing, but it's a lesser gripe of mine.

The Gameplay experience is great, the character models are improved, there's alot more to do, there's some significant and satisfying improvements on everything from raising your troops to how you deal with plots and so on.
I genuinely hope that the features that many of us miss from CK2, will come soon enough through either DLC or content packs.

As it stands, if you haven't played CK2, this is probably your best entry point and is worth your time.
If you're used to CK2 and can't live without the aforementioned features that seem to have been cut from the game, then i recommend waiting until they've sorted that all out.

All in all, the game is very good and most importantly, alot of fun.

A lot of the gripes I once had have been expanded upon and sorted, and will be sorted in the future, having given it more time, I can finally say that I enjoy CK3 almost as much as I did 2.

It's a far cry from what it was at launch, right now it feels like how it was supposed to be at launch, I genuinely like this game, and hopefully it only gets better from here on out.
It's still not CK2 level elite, but it's getting good.
