Early Access Review
Pros:
- Destiny-alike gunplay (And It is a VERY big compliment as quite a few shooter games can even get close to such a level of quality).
Sound design, impact, art direction, for god's sake, bell ringing if you hit the right timing while shooting the specific rifle? Revolver literally being in the fire (Who am I, ghost rider?) as you initiate it perk? Shooting through the whole map with a big ass all-seeing eye (some pun here) if activating a critical hit? Or just shoot with a wooden stake. Gimme two.
- Peculiar grimdark setting, keeping the thin line, as it is not pure fiction nor realistic, something familiar but distinct
- The game can be very punishable, if you are not taking it seriously, but becomes rewarding (In terms of both gameplay- and dopamine- wise) as almost "power fantasy" rewarding if you would learn and accept the rules of this pretty hostile world.
- That one is a lengthy point, so here we go.
IMHO there are two common types of games (more of a gradient, but whatever):
Those that "require" to be played with wiki
Those that should be played blindfolded

For my current full playthrough, I did not once resort to any information sources (and I am not anywhere smart!). The learning curve for locations, items and etc. keeps a pleasingly good balance between being totally obscure at first glance and puzzle piece by piece coming together as you progress through the game. And it kept me intrigued all the time with new and new things, while not being demolished as a player for trying out and experimenting with new things.
- Technical condition. Yeah, we live in such time that I need to underline it. It works without some "required dlss" ♥♥♥♥.

Cons:
At the time of review being created, first and foremost - the "early access" label and its inevitable flaws:
- Not full content, thus limited (for me: 45 hours) and not complete playthrough experience
- You WILL meet EA stop signs
- At some point in progression game becomes "power fantasy", and it is quite fun, really! (e.g. Doom Eternal) I see how devs want it to be and it has astonishing potential. But it is not being able to compete up with the player's potential what really harms replayability, as the genre (roguelike/extraction) itself demands it to have.
- You know, I have remembered that there were classes. Forget about it.
No, really, it should be reworked, as has been done with fallen preyers.
- The same goes for Gnosis, for me, at first it had it cryptic and valuable decision, but with higher Gnosis, it only kept becoming rudimentary.
It is not polished and requires some sort of tinkering.
Maybe the requirements should be more tangible, or there simply should be more, you call it.

TL;DR:
Pros: GOOG
Cons: Early access.
BUY.

P.S. I am not fond of writing reviews but this game is so good, that I WANT others to try it out. Hopefully, some stranger, even if only one, would read it and it would persuade him to give it a shot.
