When I was in the military, people said I looked like a Jimmy; not a Tom. So I was known for the four years I was in by either "Jimmy" or "Ferreira". Also at the time I was writing a story where the main character's name is "James Ronin" but goes by Jimmy and people have since said that I wrote the character of James Ronin after myself. Tis true. The character has a mouth on him that gets him into as much trouble as it gets him out of. Lastly, my parents have told me that they had thought about naming me James instead of Thomas but were afraid of me being called "Jimboy" so they didn't.
