Early Access Review
A lot of the negative reviews of the game mention positive aspects of the game that can be worked out by the very active dev team.

I've personally played the game for about 12 hours now, which is more time than I've spent on some games. I definitely think that this game has a lot of potential and the devs did the right thing by allowing support for the game to be optional rather than mandatory. Some early access games require payment, which is the totally wrong model.

Anyways, I definitely intend to follow this game into its later development - at its core, it's fun. I'm definitely counting on the devs to continue listening to the community and keep adjusting the game until it matches a vision that everyone can enjoy.

I don't typically follow any cyborg or ninja stuff, but the memes made me check out this game. Now I think cyborg ninjas are super cool and I want to be like Jetstream Sam (weakest Brazilian male) when I grow up.

The game is a little difficult to pick up at first, but once I beat it all the way through I felt like I got pretty good at it. Then I played through it again. Now I'm trying to get all S ranks, which is tedious, but when I do get it right it's a rewarding feeling like no other.

I've never had a game that left me feeling so empty inside, not even the first one. The first one didn't make me stop what I was doing, go outside and cry while sadly chain-smoking cigarettes and monologuing about my life, sneak out of my house at 3 AM and drive 50 miles through rolling hills and forests, stop for a pity Whataburger and crash in my bed at 6 AM before waking up 2 hours later to turn in a long-due research paper and fall back asleep for another 9 hours.

Pretty good at what it does, this game.

EDIT: also apparently you can talk to people in the Steam Client using 'Emily Online' mode, so you can now experience the nostalgia without all the sadness!

The heartbreaking journey of a broken man. Where to start?

This game affected me more deeply than I typically like to admit. When it started off, I was just all like, "yeah, RPG maker game, yadda yadda yadda." But then it slowly, passionately started to reel me in.

With the silly pixel art and the hilarious characters molded by the apocalypse, I was initially caught off guard by Brad and his story. And as things just kept happening and happening, the things that he goes through eventually starts to weigh on your mind as well.

But I'm sure nobody goes around looking for their lives to get changed by a video game. The style is grim and charming, the soundtrack is amazing, and the gameplay is fun, reminiscent of a few Game-Boy titles (hence RPG-maker.) The plot will drag you right down with it, but media is about how well you can manipulate the consumer, and this particular piece of media is very good at doing that.

Overall? One of the best games I ever played. Give it a shot.

A moving story that brought a tear to my eye. Through twists and turns, it's a journey you feel like you're undertaking along with the protagonists as they fight for the man's last wish - to go to the moon.

You need to play it.

A charming little game. There are 150 levels in all, growing progressively harder as you go. Like some (a lot) of my other games, I only picked this one up for the easy achievements. This isn't usually my niche of game, but people who enjoy puzzles, like those mobile apps like Cut the Rope or something like that, would most likely enjoy this. People like me get impatient, and for a while I was, until I realized you could skip levels.

Anyway, overall, good game. Free. Physics can be a little jittery at times, but nothing majorly game-breaking. I recommend it, and remember: kill yourself.

Honestly, I only played this for the achievements. Easy if you follow a guide, doesn't take long to complete at all. But I ended up getting more than just achievements. Despite having a little more than an hour in this game, it touched me deeply. As someone who's had a little bit of trouble knowing what to say in the past, this game offers the experience of a relationship that never truly blossoms, instead choked upon by circumstance and poor decisions. I would say that it teaches a lesson, one that you could only absorb via a situation such as the one this game places you through. Unlike some others, I didn't cry after completing the game, but instead just kind of sat there pensively, almost melancholy. I then started a new playthrough to see if things would change, but the outcome was the same. Bullshitty in a way, but then again so is life...

...but I digress. It's a pretty solid game. Starts all fun and gradually chokes you up. I'd recommend it if you're looking to board the feels train.

Easily one of the most aggravating games I've ever played. Maybe because I'm not good at these kinds of games or whatever, but my attitude towards the end was, "I want to beat this game in one go so I never have to play it again." Think of that as you will.

THE MOST PATRIOTIC GAME YOU CAN EVER BUY
RECALLS THEMES OF TEAM AMERICA: GLOBAL POLICE
DEFEAT TERRORISTS WITH THE FORCE OF RAMBO, WILL SMITH, AND THAT CHICK WITH A GRENADE-LAUNCHER LEG
17/76 WOULD BUY. AND LOWER NUMBERS ARE MORE AMERICAN IN THIS CASE.

Seriously, though. This game is honestly a great game. It's simple, really: run through a fully-destructible map and slice, shoot, explode, and basically annihilate little men with masks. Even after they're dead, you can chop them up into little pieces. This game pays close, close attention to detail, like attack dogs running up and feasting on any corpse they see, or how the avatar in the corner is animated according to what your character is doing at the time.

However, it's not too long at this point: I've gotten a little more than two hours on here. Only reason why I don't have more is because I've played it offline too, so we gotta keep that in mind. My estimate is about 3-5. No idea. But honestly, give this game a go. It deserves to be fueled with Hamiltons.

TL;DR This is a great, pixel-violent, fully-destructible, American side-scrolling game that pays close attention to detail.

Sorry Coffee Stain, but I'm gonna have to say no to this game. Why? Well, granted, it's fun for maybe the first twenty minutes or so, but it gets inexplicably boring after a while. We've all seen ragdolling everywhere before, so watching a goat spazz out isn't exactly hilarious. I mean, if you want ragdolling, Garry's Mod is the place for that. Also, the map. For a map that's supposed to house a goat that could possibly get hit by a car and fly away, it's pretty tiny. Like, we're talking tiny tiny. Also, if you follow what the game tells you to do, after maybe an hour or so you'll end up with some serious lag. It's like, fresh at the start and dead at the end. There's no way you can reach that high point goal unless you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥' a with combos.

However, this game isn't all that bad. I mean, the Easter Eggs made me snort a little. Also, there's a Workshop mode, so you can play other maps and play as things other than a goat, such as the Heavy Weapons Guy.

So, this game. 4/10. Take the disclaimer seriously.

Unless you can afford to throw around 10 bucks like it's ♥♥♥♥. Then by all means, buy this game.
