Early Access Review
Card Hog is a fun and entertaining roguelike cardgame with less emphasis on deck building and more on picking the right moves. It's fast, frantic fun, and the developer has already added a bunch of new functionality from player feedback, and is working on new gamemodes.

Well worth the price!

Once you get into the flow, you're stuck in a one more level loop for a good while.
My only real complaint is that some of the combos are a bit difficult to read, like when you get the ability to switch direction and attack someone far outside your regular attack range does not seem to be tied into the regular powerup system, and as such is hard to plan for.

Stellaris is easily beat by other games in several different categories, empire management, colony management, research tree and interstellar warfare and AI. There are other games that does all of the above better than Stellaris does.

What Stellaris manages to do, is to be good enough, and to be good enough at everything at the same time.

Couple this with a dedicated development team that are not afraid to change the game completely from one patch to the next if they see something that doesn't work as great as it should, add the fabled paradox DLC release schedule and robust modding support and you've got a solid game in your hands!

Edit:
After the later patches, I can no longer stand by what I said above.
The game's Economy is now far stronger than it was, the changes to AI and balance actually makes a difference. Likely not enough to challenge a min-maxing pro, but playing casually I've found myself on the backfoot against an AI opponent more than once since the 2.3 patch.
It's still far from perfect, there are a lot of kinks to iron out, chief among them is likely the economy AI which still manages to get bogged down.

Quite enjoyable game, but the interface is randomly unresponsive at the best of times.
Not recommended unless clicking on things is actually possible

Quite simply the best CRPG since Baldurs Gate II.

I don't think this text box can properly contain the amount of praise and recommendation i want to give this game. The base game is stunning and features a long, if a tad railroaded, main story with a slew of sidequests that will take you all across the mojave desert. Where this game really shines is with it's expansion packs, well worth every penny they continue the tale of the courier, ties up some loose ends from the base game, and brings it all together in a stunningly epic conclusion.

And that's not even mentioning the mods...
