Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree is a breath of fresh air in the indie scene. From the moment you dive into the world of Ma’een, you're immersed in a lush, mysterious ocean steeped in Middle Eastern mythology , something we rarely get to see in games, and it's done with love and respect.

The movement feels intuitive, with swimming mechanics that are smooth and relaxing. The puzzles are clever without being frustrating, and they blend naturally into the environment and story. What really stood out to me was the unique use of light as a core mechanic and ties directly into the game’s themes of balance and restoration.

Visually, it’s stunning. The environments feel alive, and the art style has this ethereal quality that draws you in. The soundtrack complements the atmosphere perfectly , and haunting when the story takes darker turns.

Overall, this game is a hidden gem. If you enjoy narrative-driven adventures, beautiful world-building, and something truly unique, give this one a shot. Big props to the developers , this is a game I won’t forget anytime soon.
