Epic Games may have just killed one of my favourite games. Rocket League is a truly great game (unique mechanics, tight controls and perfect learning curve) BUT the if the recent buyout by Epic Games removes ANY functionality from the game I have payed for on Steam, I cannot recommend supporting Psyonix. I will not be buying any DLCs or keys (I have spent over $50 in the past) until the following assurances are made by Psyonix:

• My Steam copy of the game will retain it's FULL functionality, including my progress, stats, inventory, Workshop support, external mods and access to future updates and DLC.
  
• I do not have to make an Epic account to play my Steam version of the game (I know too much about the abysmal security Epic Games subjects it's users to)
  
• I NEVER have to install the Epic Games launcher to play Rocket League
  
  I have strongly boycotted Epic Games since they started using the money generated by Fortnite to buy out other games, forcing people to buy games on an inferior platform with significant security issues. As much as I love Rocket League, I will boycott the game if the aforementioned assurances are not made public by Psyonix before the deal takes place.

A great relaxing game I would quite happily pay a few quid for, the fact that it's free is awesome, as the feeling of momentum as you get a bit of speed up is great, the swinging mechanics of it are just outstanding.
It's also got some great customizable options for the levels, allowing you to effectively modify any part of the game you want if you want more of a challenge or you just want to play without consequences for hitting something.
Read a few more reviews if you're unsure, but if they don't convince you, I don't know what will, it's not as if you've got anything to lose with a free 20MB game anyway, just go for it, I guarantee it's a million times better than any free to play iPhone game :)
