I've never been as interested in a storyline as with this game. I completed it in 8-9 hours. It can be done way faster, but I enjoyed looking for small details in post-apocalyptic Russia. Definitely worth buying for people into FPS, horror and good storylines!

I'm an ex-BFP4F'er, and in my opinion, they should have shut down this game instead of P4F, because the ammount of kids is just HUGE: You only get killed by tanks, heli's, mortar strikes, grenades and RPG's. The maps are bad too: in many maps the ammount of recons is so huge that you can't even walk 10 meters away from your spawn point, Some maps are just chaotic and some of the better maps are never played. My final point is the graphics: In P4F, almost everyone had his settings on low, because enemies were WAY better visible. In this game, playing on low graphics isn't helping. The ammount of smoke and dust is outrageous: you can't run longer than a few secons without seeing nothing but smoke/dust. This makes it very hard to snipe and capture bases. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who gets annoyed by kids and played P4F.

It's quite hard to set up a server... I expected that it had some more support for that... I'm glad that YouTube exists and I managed to get it up after 2.5 hours :P. Besides that this game is amazing! You can just do what you want, make what you want with who you want. I already downloaded like 100 addons after the first 10 minutes of gameplay :D I wouldn't reccomend this if you're running low on memory space, the game itself is 6gb, but the addons (especially maps) are filling your hard drive as well!

I personally like Civilization IV more in terms of graphics and things, but in terms of gameplay this game is definely better!
