Its not worth the buy, the gameplay is nothing new if you have played any of the previous Farcrys if anything they have removed and stripped down features by comparison. Its broken ingame with having access to things like a 50. cal sniper as soon as you can access a shop. But the biggest reason I'd not recommend is because after 10 hours of gameplay Uplay/Ubisoft decided that I had not actually played the game at all and deleted my save file, after investigating this is not an uncommon thing to happen. To have you file either reverted back massively or gone entirely.

So yea, save your money.

Running a homebrew DnD campagin based on this and its so much fun seeing how Im able to pick dialouge apporitate to their choices.

I would very much not reccomend this game. After reading through comments and reviews I saw one of the biggest issues was unfair RNG in fights, I figured it must be a bit like Xcom and similar games with % hit chances where you'll miss the odd 99% chance to hit. Which I could understand, but not when it happens on the 2nd fight out of the tutorial, 4 times in a row mixed with 2 missed spell casts. Again I can handle bad RNG but not when the enemies have a 40% chance to hit and never miss. Even if that was not an issue, running into a bug that stops me from completeing the 2nd fight in the graveyard by not letting me interact with the thing the game is screaming at me to interact with to stop mobs spawning.

I came into this game optimistic and figuring people were just too used to easy games that held your hand and gave it negative reviews because they didn't have to think. This game has proven that thinking wrong, its just a bad designed game with subpar voice acting, from what little I saw an unoriginal story (Accused of murder and coviently having no memory of it or anything.) No real customisation and just in general poor gameplay.

If you've read this far and have not bought the game I would say do not waste time and money on this and go get Divinity Original Sin for a similar but all round greater gaming experience.
