TLDR - Early access. Not a solo game.
Mortal II suffers terribly from networking technical issues, half finished systems and poor balance. It feels very unfinished.
Servers cannot handle high load well. Under stress the servers lag horribly and desync.
The world is huge and begs for exploration... yet there is little to find off the beaten path other than unloved half-finished landscapes and horse deathtraps. Entrances to most hidden dungeons are walled off or totally empty.

Would happily pay for any DLC.

Plays wonderfully with a group of friends. Not a lot of content yet but runs perfect and wicked fun. Rock solid gold!
