Controller support is old and does not officially support modern controllers, but can fixed (tedious).

install flawless widescreen if you are running into issues running any resolution over 1080p, the game sometimes doesn't like to go over that. it also fixes the stretching on ultrawides. (Tested on 3440x1440, be sure to set your resolution up in the custom resolution settings.)

I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment across this rollercoaster of a game. BoTW got nothing on this amazing game that should have been game of the year.
