It's gonna need a ton of polish and A-life but this game consumed me for a week.
Definitely going to be fun watching people mod this one to hell and back.

Incredibly recommended. Awesome title that doesn't ask too much of your time.

Not a really great port. Broke the mobile version of the game and made it ultra laggy.

Beyond that, literally every time I log in on PC I have to click through menus like it's my first time playing.

So I haven't played much but I can see exactly what they were going for- but... IMO it's lacking the bombast that made some of its inspirations so memorable. There's very little celebration or excitement one might find in the cabinet games of yore, but frankly- this game is enough.

It's enough to play and just have fun. Drive some tracks, unlock your favorite car, putt around and set times. No stress, no ulterior motives.

Absolutely worth the price of entry. Incredibly underrated.

My rival started getting madder and madder at me because I bumped him ONCE on the first GP. Fast forward 5 GP's and he challenges me to a 1 on 1. He loses badly. In retribution, he repaints my car the night before the final into a beautiful white/pink which I took 1st in. He finished the season with 0 points.

Mustachioed prick lmao. Everyone else on the grid admired me.

This game is one of the best games I have played in recent memory. Arrowhead as a development studio deserve than some corporate morons at Sony insisting they know better.

Until the playstation network account requirement is removed, this review stays negative.

Super fun, a great way to get myself to exercise while stuck at home. I feel as though it is missing out on a lot of potential. As a member of gen-z I grew up at least partially playing games like Hydro Thunder and going to water parks, and know that kayaks are not restricted to just ice, open water and rivers.

A few levels with rapids, differing levels of water and more kinds of water features would skyrocket this up to a must-play.
One race in particular just barely touches upon the concept, having the starting line be out of the water, sliding down a ramp of glacial ice into the water giving you speed (and with that, potential for airtime on a later feature) but again I feel like that kind of excitement could be expanded upon.

Still- hard recommend.

What an actually fantastic experience. I cannot begin to express how unabashedly fluid, fun and excellent this game is. It's long, it's fun, it's not taking itself too seriously and I can't really express how joyful it makes me and my ADHD brain.

Hot garbage. If I was supposed to be hyped for whatever this "palace" thing is, I'm very much not. All I know now is that they took my money for some collab that landed me with cars I don't even get in-game for free. If they were anything like the bonus cars you got in NFS: Heat, I'd be cool with it, but they're not. I guess this was for balancing reasons, but if that was the case, then either make it default or make it VERY, VERY CLEAR that you do NOT get these cars ingame as soon as you get access to the garage.
