I bought this game on GOG AND most recently steam (steam playtime is 3 hours but i have over 350 hours in this on GOG)

This is a benchmark for all RPGs, its one of the best ever made. beautiful game, beautiful story, amazing modding community. Its my favourite game of all time (but there are issues, i never let that change my view)
I have played this game to finish 5 times and on my 6th run (to 100%, i think twice)

The Good:
Amazing story
Deep lore
Mostly true to reference content (books)
Beautiful game (even better with mods)
No microtransactions
Genuinely amazing DLC
Basically always on sale for little money
Great modding community
So much content
very nice animations

The Bad:
combat is serviceable but quite limited (modding community is on it)
Very easy (even on death-march), girlfriend likes the difficulty but i find it way to easy
Minor glitches
I would have loved to go further with customisation of signs (they are in lore, but could have an off lore mode)
Leveling is a bit odd (can be fixed with mods, kind of)

Overall:
Highly recommend! 8.5/10
