Story and writing in general i found to be very enjoyable, there's a lot of outright absurd and caricaturistic stuff which might be off-putting to some people, but i dig it.

Neat progression system, except for the fact that it encourages you to min-max hard.

Combat is pretty typical turn-based CRPG/XCOM kind of deal, having beaten game on Normal i'd suggest either starting on Hard or setting up custom settings, lack of FF later on makes you feel like you're outright cheating.

Amazing soundtrack, both original material and covers of existing songs fit very well within the game and are worth checking out on their own.

As far as technical side of things goes (lots of reviews mention game still being buggy to this day), in ~40 hrs it took me to beat game i've only encountered a handful of visual glitches and one bug that was both minor and within context of the story itself i wasn't that sure if it was even bug or feature Irv being in his "room" in HQ complaining about conditions and in market square talking to bookseller at the same time (спойлер) . Haven't tried coop yet, so can't speak for performance there.

Overall i'd say game is very good and worth giving it a shot if it looks like something you might enjoy.

Will likely write more detailed review later, but for now extremely condensed TL:DR version based on ~30 hrs in SP campaign:

Pros:
- Essentially a Warband 2.0, lots of improvements and some very neat new stuff introduced.

Cons:
- Some of issues from original game like non-existent quest variety and world that feels dead are still here.
- Performance: feels like early singleplayer beta with relatively often (but still tolerable) crashes, and risk of save file corruption and loss of hours of progress even when exiting the game normally (outright infuriating and inexcusable, not recommending because of it).

Still game currently is being patched daily, potential of being a worthy successor to previous great titles in series is there, but for now i feel like it's hardly worth asking price.

7/04/20 Update:

Another 30 hours in, no crashes, no save corruptions. Daily patches had their effect, game is worth cautious recommendation now.
