The devs have kept updating this game pretty steadily and it's a good way to spend a couple hours.

I've spent a good amount of time on this game, people are convinced that this game is p2w, but most of the starting decks are viable and you can create good decks from just the starting decks. You get enough cards for free that it doesn't matter if you pay or not, it just takes a pretty long time to get all the cards you need. I've played the game for a year now and there have been 2-3 expansions. I was able to unlock all the content (all the story lines and pre-made decks that come with them) in the expansions within 2 months of them releasing, I never bought any of them with real money. Some cons to the game however, are that early game decks heavily outclass almost any late game deck and that most of the three-color decks are really underpowered because you have to add 75 cards to the deck (normal 1 or 2 color decks only require 50). This makes it hard to make a good deck because there just aren't enough cards that interact well with each other to have consistently good cards in your hand for a three-color deck.

This is honestly one of the best looking, challenging, and emotionally compelling games I have ever played. One of the few platformers that I have played through multiple times.
