Very rewarding game play! The only grindy part of this game is mining for ores and transporting them across the world with out a portal to your base.
Combat feels nice, other than the occassional in-ablility to hit a neck with a spear because they are down the river.
The building is amazing with its real world physics and needing to make building structrually sound as well as look nice.
Each biome is unique with its own challenges and difficult monsters to defend against with the reward of better ores to make better armor and increase in power.
The terrain generation makes you never feel like you have seen this part of the map before. Even when you find an old biome that you've been to before, it still feels new and exciting to uncover more of the map. Exploring the world is one of my favorite parts about this game.

Overall, I am impressed with 5 peoples ability to make a game that is as challenging and interesting to play as minecraft was in the olden days.
