Excellent Monkey Island game and an instant classic. The art style is certainly a unique and unusual direction, but I really like it and personally I think it works much better for a classic adventure game than what we saw on Monkey 1 and 2 Special Editions. This game is a love letter to the series and to the whole genre of point-and-click adventures.

It's only a pity that they had to cut content from this game, there are certain areas that were clearly intended to be used more than they were in the end and even a whole island that was cut from the final game that you can visit in its incomplete WIP form ...

But overall a worthy Monkey Island game with great humour, charming new characters and locations as well as classic ones given a colourful new coat of paint. The soundtrack and dynamic music system are also brilliant.

An adventure worth embarking on, even if the modern game industry sadly resulted in some lost content, but the game is still reasonably long :) And the achievements are entertaining enough to warrant a few more playthroughs after the first

What a game. Excellent soundtrack, animations, stunning art direction, an emotive story and the cat gameplay is fun too and very well-captured.

It is relatively short, although the length is perfect for this game imo. Overall a charming, engaging and striking piece of audio-visual design.

100% worth it.

Shockingly bad excuse for a Battlefield game. Feels more like a F2P third-party rip-off infused with features copied straight out of Modern Warfare 2019. This game only superficially resembles previous Battlefield titles and isn't worthy of the name.

"Battlefield™ 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise"

What a joke.

DICE has lost the plot and clearly doesn't understand their own series or what made it special. DICE marketed this game as a celebration of the series and yet their design decisions are anything but, this game throws the legacy of its predecessors out the window in favour of cheap gimmicks and bad industry tropes.

-Barely any destruction
-Awful, discordant soundtrack
-No scoreboard
-Poor map design
-No server browser
-Soulless, gigantic maps and pointless 128-player count that was purely marketing
-Flashy weather effects that serve no purpose
-No classes, therefore no teamwork and no distinct player roles or recognition thereof
-No real factions, everyone playing the same few lame ass characters
-Battlefield should not be a "hero shooter", you aren't supposed to be playing as a special character, you're supposed to be a generic soldier on a big battlefeld, it's not about the individual.
-Atrocious gunplay with ridiculous random spread that feels nothing like the gunplay evolution of previous titles. Feels more like an unsuccessful attempt to mimic COD gunplay.
-No persistent lobbies, same maps over and over again and no proper rotation.
-Vastly reduced vehicle progression/configuration.
-No more weapon type unlocks, everything is just arbitrarily unlocked by player rank.
-Hardly any weapons.
-Very poorly optimised.
-Downgraded player movement vs BFV.
-Downgraded vehicle progression.

DICE didn't take any good features from previous games. Battlefield V had issues, but it was still a Battlefield game at its core. 2042 isn't.

RIP Battlefield (2002-2021)

Awesome little game. Photorealistic visuals (particularly with RT enabled) with engaging building mechanics and puzzles. A well-told, abstract story with a great soundtrack. It is short, and the RT performance is brutal, but definitely worth leaving on for the visuals. Overall, an exceptional audiovisual experience.

Great humour and clever references to other games/media. The new final episode is brilliantly huge and expansive. A little buggy, I've had multiple game hangs even when in windowed mode (the game warns against running in full-screen), although thankfully due to the nature of this game these hangs aren't really a major issue.

Quite short, but a well-written. A visually striking detective game with simple yet engaging investigation mechanics and characters.

Decent conversion of a great PS4 game. Not nearly as bad a port as many are claiming. A few bugs such as 30fps facial animations. Performance could be a little better, but the game still runs relatively well at 1440p on my system, fps in 70s and 80s (RTX 2080). I'm even able to run at near 60fps at 1440p on my 1650 Super with some further setting/resolution scale tweaks. I haven't experienced any crashes or other game-breaking issues.

The game itself is just as good as it was before, great story, visuals, music, performance capture/acting, a stunning natural world, fun gameplay and a good variety of side quests.

Great strategy roguelite. Simple in premise, but with enough complexity that each island becomes its own strategy puzzle. Nice art style too.
