- Most mods try to recreate the fine-tuned "Valve" experience, and it always fails. But Transmissions leads the way with twists and mechanics that build upon itself.
- It blue-screened my computer at the end though--just adds to the experience imo.
- Some obvious criticisms and problems are addressed in other reviews, but it was never enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

It's such a mid game compared to the original HL or Opposing Force...which is better than this. The only enjoyment you can gain from this is being nostalgic to a nostalgic game. It just doesn't work.
Maybe I'll turn around to this game one day, but for now I can only think ill.

Often older games are hard to play. but just learn to b-hop and it becomes a blast

Until the bot problem is fixed from the game, this game is only has a half-life of a few years.

Edit: Just about three years later and the issues are still here. At least I gave a negative review before it was cool.

Classic story and shooter that can still stand today.
