CAMPAIGN

Ever since I started playing Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, this series held closest to my heart. 20 years later this franchise still thrives despite Halo 5: Guardians' lackluster story, I am very happy to say Halo Infinite is an amazing game. Halo Infinite is (in my opinion) one of the best Halo games ever released. The story is amazing, pretty, and very emotional, being the first Halo game to make me shed a tear since Halo 3. All of the characters they introduced and all being lovable and diverse, reminds me of Halo 2's characters very much. The gameplay is perfect, the best in the series ever. The art style from Halo 4, 5, and Halo Wars 2 was not the best, but Halo Infinite returns to the original style which is orgasmic. The lore is amazing and everything is perfect. Although missions are not replayable unless you want to restart the campaign, this is a bummer but most games follow this path like Destiny 2, Farcry, Assassins Creed, so most live services games. With it being a live service, I do expect story DLC to grow more like an Arbiter DLC or a Flood DLC.

Multiplayer

Similar to the campaign, the gameplay is flawless, guns feel good, sprinting feels amazing, maps are amazing. It is just wonderful. Although the lack of a progression system and XP gaining slow, I personally do not believe that is the point. The multiplayer is amazing in almost every aspect. I was invested enough to play the ranked mode and get all the way to Diamond. Some weapons do need to be buffed like the ravager but I still love everything about it.

Conclusion

Halo Infinite as a whole is definitely going to go on the shelves as one of the best Halo games ever made. This is from someone who played every game fully and has been playing since the very beginning. 343, although your mishaps with Halo 4 and Halo 5, I can proudly say that you, 343 Industries have made not just a Halo game, but one of the best Halo games.

13 Years later still the ONLY FPS game on PC that I can actually play for more than 5 mins at a time. In fact I can play for days at a time. The speed, control, strategy and overal logic this game uses is pure beauty. Although it blatantly breaks nearly every realistic law of physics known to man kind, it still easily trumps all of the zombie filled, fantasy land, role-playing nonsense this next generation has grown to obsess over. It makes no sense how fun and enjoyable this game STILL is, regardless of it being ''dead'' and bereft of nearly all organized play (outside off all of the low-lifes wasting everyones time using Perfect Player packages in the pickups ofc). You may need to be born before 1990 or so to truly grasp the awesomeness of this game, but if you do, kudos and thank you for playing. Nuff said.

In short: you have a 'set budget' every week, during the week the rest of the team (marketing, managers, players) will have issues and requests. You get likes based on how many you were able to get done during the week, which gets you into more prestigious teams.

It's an interesting DLC, it changes things up enough to justify the price imo. I like it. :)

There isn't much of a difference between this game and the original Half-Life. If you're deciding which to buy, it honestly doesn't matter. The water is nicer in this game and there are ragdolls and better physics. Other than that, it's essentially the same game. Don't worry about not getting the "pure" experience of HL1 because this is essentially it. Lower resolution water and people who just lay down and die without leaving a ragdoll for you to smack with a crowbar weren't the cornerstones of the Half-Life. Playing HL is an experience, regardless of trivialities such as this.

I wouldn't get this by itself personally; if you really wanna pick it up, get it via one of the packs in the Store and/or wait for a sale.

One interesting note though, you can load up the content from this game in Garry's Mod. If you have Gmod, this might give you some fun stuff to play around with.

Where Blue Shift failed, this expansion succeeds. Gearbox did an excellent job with this one, with a ton of great new weapons and great new enemies to face. Once you're done with Half-Life 1, you've GOT to play this.

Blue Shift, Is a side story and a good addition to Half-life.

You are playing as one of the security guards when the outbreak happens and you get to experience what really happend before and in the beginning of Half-life.

There is almost no bugs and the ingame NPC has also been edited very nicely with great little details.

The story overall is interesting and keeps on being it from start till end, even though the mod is not the longest, the side story in itself is perfect and to me, doesn't need to be any longer than it is, but would had been "nice" if it was.
