[Pros]
+ Cool aesthetic. (Futuristic girls with guns. I mean c'mon.)
+ Tight gunplay and a variety of playstyles. Levels are cool too.
+ There's a lot of lore and worldbuilding. If you're into that sort of thing.
+ Great selection of characters to choose from.
+ Lots to do. (sidequests, events, etc.)

[Cons]
- Horrifying english voiceovers. (So bad i had to turn them off entirely)
- Cringe gooner fanservice and dialogue. "S-Senpai... you saw me without my hijab! uwu..." I mean hooooo my god lmao. It's a bit hilariously much at times and probably written by a sweaty fat dude.
- Way too much dialogue and cutscenes that pull you out of the gameplay. (Unless you like a ♥♥♥♥ ton of lore and exposition.)
- Convoluted and cluttered UI and menus with multiple currencies and other needless crap.

[Final thoughts]
When you're shooting things and blowing things up as a cute waifu, it's pretty great. When the girls start talking or slobbering over the main character, it becomes total goonerville and i mentally check out. So it's kind of a 50/50 deal, depending on how you feel about those things. Overall, i think it's pretty cool. Put on some Doom music and give it a go. 8/10.

This game doesn't feel real.

It feels like an early 2000s fever dream of pure unadulterated PVP chaos with a breakcore soundtrack.

And i wouldn't have it any other way.

This game is fantastic, i really don't understand the negativity and drama within the community.
It's a fast-paced multiplayer Mecha combat game. I've had no trouble finding matches.

Pros
+ Fast-paced mech action.
+ A good variety of weight classes to choose from
+ I haven't had any trouble finding games... yet.
+ Booba

Cons
- Combat can be a little button mashy, but it's still fun.
- Community is very small, It might be hard to find games.
- The voice-overs get irritating pretty fast, i had to turn them off.
- I've heard stories there's bots in ranked. Which is terrible if true.

Give it a try if you're curious. Depending on your region it might be hard to find matches.
Just blast some Doom music and give it a go. 8/10

Steel Assault is a fantastic throwback to stylish 90's action-platformers.
If you enjoy oldschool style games, there's a lot to love.

The Good.
+ Fast-paced action.
+ Beautiful pixel art.
+ Awesome soundtrack.
+ Very challenging.

The Bad.
+ Relatively short.
+ Not many levels.
+ Very challenging.

Out of all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games you send your chinese developer to make, why the ♥♥♥♥ is it Battlefield 2042? You took a great singleplayer franchise (look it up) and shat all over it.
This game is absolute peak modern gaming in the worst possible way. Everything wrong with the industry.

Let's break it down:

- Stupid cartoonish "operators" that suck all immersion into the void.
- Maps and modes that make no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense whatsoever. (and the BHD DLC counts too)
- Immature passive-aggressive playerbase that never works together and never shuts up.
- "Our Team" vs "Enemy Team" bs. Because nations don't exist anymore apparently.
- And bro, what is this live-service Rainbow Six Siege storyline? Skynet? Are you guys actually serious?

Nah dude, this game is a joke. Go play Battlefield 3, 4 or 1. You'll have a better time.

Chinese Counter-Strike (Or Valorant if you prefer) with a card system, randomizers, character abilities and a flashy neon aesthetic. The gunplay is good, the girls are pretty and the randomizers do their job, but something feels... missing.

Something about the game feels dull, lacking and not particularly exciting compared to other games. Like i said, it's functional and it's not miserable to play, it just feels like something's off.

It's probably because it feels like a hero shooter aimed at teenagers, so there's that.

CS1.6: Absolute classic. A little bit of everything. Lots of servers. Still fun. Usually laid back. Lots of custom servers/maps.

Condition Zero: Not nearly as bad as everyone else says, has a weird single-player mode with bots, small handful of very populated (and quite fun) custom servers.

CS:S: Chill dads hanging out after work simulator. Very casual and friendly. Not many populated servers. (Also custom sprays are awesome)

CSGO: Valve killed it because Potato Chips. Or Onion Rings. Probably.

CS2: Extremely competitive but fun to get better at. Usually filled with angry sweaty tryhards, high-schoolers/streamers trying to become internet famous, lots of cheaters, annoying little kids, ridiculously expensive/exploitative marketplace for skins, agents and other crap. Matchmaking with no custom servers/maps. Very modern live-service. Oh, and the hitboxes and TTK are BORKED.

I dunno, pick which one works for you. At least CS is still alive, right?
