The game’s storyline revolves around the two Saiyans navigating the complex world of intergalactic commerce while fending off competitors like Frieza, who has shifted from world domination to owning a rival franchise. Players are tasked with helping Goku perfect his cooking skills while training in secret to defeat food critics who seek to destroy their reputation. Along the way, you gather ingredients from different planets and must unlock powerful recipes through side quests.

Combat in Xenoverse 2 is mostly food-based, with battles happening in cooking arenas rather than traditional stages. Players can use Goku’s “Super Stir Fry” attack or Vegeta’s signature “Big Bang BBQ” to dominate opponents. The ultimate goal is to earn enough Zeni to open the perfect restaurant on Planet Namek, but watch out—Beerus, the god of destruction, has gone vegan and is now threatening to destroy all meat-based cuisines!
