Heard really good things about this game, waited for the hype to die down before trying it for myself.

After playing through Chapter 1, I'm happy to be one of the 15,465 (and counting) supporters of the Rambley Raccoon Makeship Plush campaign.

10/10.

I must say, I'm rather impressed with Sony.

Every time I think they've made the worst ♥♥♥♥ up known to man, they always manage to make an even worse one somehow.

(EDIT: We won, boys... We liberated Sony HQ... For Democracy, for Super Earth.)

After recent events regarding a certain dime-a-dozen DMCA troll claiming to be a legal representative for Nintendo, I've decided to revise my initial review of Garry's Mod for the worst.

Of course; Garry's Mod itself is a timeless masterpiece of a game, I wouldn't have over 6,000 hours on it if that wasn't the case. That being said, the major issue that's resulted in this negative review is none other than Garry Newman and Facepunch Studios themselves for the blatant disregard of the Garry's Mod community as a whole.

For those who don't know; at the time of writing this, literal hundreds of Nintendo related addons - whether it be Super Mario, Pokemon, or even Metroid - have been removed due to DMCA claims. This would be an absolutely horrible thing for Nintendo to do, if any of it was actually true.

Over the course of these incidents, the Garry's Mod community had banded together - both addon creators and their fans - to look into the DMCA claims, and the e-mails they received. What resulted was - at the time of writing this - a 241 page long Steam Discussion housing a laundry list of evidence that the individual making these DMCA claims is not affiliated with Nintendo in any way, shape, or form.

In response to this, Facepunch simply chalked it up as rumors, and was incredibly quick to "confirm" that the claims were from Nintendo - making an announcement that they would be going through and removing any and all Nintendo related addons, without any compassion towards the original addon creators who had been around for over/nearly a decade, simply stating, "Honestly, it's fair."

This situation was not handled professionally in the slightest - and because of this; countless Garry's Mod addon creators are either boycotting the Workshop, or leaving it in it's entirety.

In conclusion; No, I currently do not recommend Garry's Mod. If this is how the developers want to treat their players, then they don't deserve your money.

I'll be honest; when the original demo for Amanda the Adventurer came out a little over a year ago, I didn't have very high hopes - it just seemed like a little one-off game that was capitalizing on the popularity of the analog horror genre.

But now - after having played through the whole game for myself and completing it 100% - I'm happy to say that I was wrong about this game. What I used to see as a low-budget project with lackluster features, quickly evolved into a short-but-sweet puzzle/horror game with great voice acting, and very well put together live action segments.

Nothing about Amanda the Adventurer feels out-of-place; you won't see a smartphone next to a CRT television, nor will you see any live action tapes that make no logical sense to be recorded. Everything fits together nicely, making it easy for the player to become immersed into their role in the game's world.

The animation for Amanda the Adventurer itself - while I do still find it a little lackluster, personally - has come a very long way from how it looked initially. Character movements are more natural, and even have subtle changes in their facial expressions that can be easy to miss.

My only real complaint with this game is that I wish there were more opportunities to explain the lore further, as I picked up on several keywords and phrases that I felt should've elicited a secret response, as well as items within the attic that felt underutilized. (Though I am very hopeful that future updates to the game give us more to work with.)

In conclusion, if you're looking for a cheap-yet-fun little puzzle/horror game, I would definitely recommend this game - especially if you have the money to spare, as I would genuinely love to see these developers grow. They really did do an amazing job with this.

Just like this game, I'm gonna make my review on Shredder's Revenge short, but sweet!

I've been keeping an eye on this game ever since it was revealed last year, and believe me when I say it was worth the wait.

This entire game is a beautiful love letter to both the cartoon and the original arcade games, with amazing sprite work and an even more amazing soundtrack - you can practically feel the love and care that went into everything.

Although it is short, with a Story Mode that took me less than two hours to complete, I'm still glad I got to experience it firsthand - and I'll be playing it a lot more in the future!

In conclusion; if you're a Ninja Turtles fan - or just a fan of beat 'em up games in general - I can't recommend this game enough!

I know this is going to be an extremely bold claim; but personally speaking, Splitgate is what Halo Infinite's multiplayer wishes it was.

Me and my friends downloaded Splitgate on a whim while trying to find something new to play, and what we got was an amazing multiplayer FPS game with solid gameplay and innovative mechanics. I bought Gold Edition on my first day of playing it, simply for the fact that this game doesn't deserve to be free for as good as it is, I can't say enough good things about it!

There's a whole bunch of maps and gamemodes to play around with, and - unless you're like me and mainly stick to one or two gamemodes - it's very hard to get bored of. Everything feels super balanced too, not once have I ever died and felt as though it was due to bad game design, everything feels extremely fair. The maps are also brilliantly designed with the portal mechanic in mind, allowing you to kill your opponents in some very creative, and often times very funny ways.

Optimization for this game is amazing as well. My PC is far from being top-of-the-line, but I'm still able to run it on the highest graphics settings with little to no lag at all. And the playerbase for this game also appears to be extremely friendly, I've yet to experience any sort of toxicity in the time that I've played this game - though I'm sure there's still a couple bad apples here and there.

I would like to personally thank the developers (and my friends who suggested we play this) for not only introducing me to a fun gaming experience, but also to a game that I can give a positive review on after all this time.

Overall, I highly recommend Splitgate - if you're looking for an action-packed FPS game on a budget, you've come to the right place!

After beating this game 100%, and seeing everything it has to offer, it's finally time that I give Hotline Miami it's much-deserved review.

If you like top-down shooters, or just ultra-violent games in general - you'll love Hotline Miami.

I picked up this game on sale a couple years ago after hearing nothing but good things about it, and ever since then it's been one of my favorite games - combining two of my favorite things; the violence of DOOM, and the synth-heavy music of the 80's.

However, that doesn't mean this game is all neon-sunshine and bloody-rainbows. Hotline Miami can - and, in most cases, will - beat you down, especially if you've never had any previous experience with top-down shooters. It'll be extremely challenging once you first pick it up, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be extremely fun too.

As the game progresses, you'll unlock different weapons to either help yourself out in a bad situation, or to spill more pixelated Russian Mafia blood with - but (with skill, and a keen eye) you'll also unlock different masks, all with their own special ability that can change the way you play entirely. You want a mask that makes you kill Russian Mafia members just by punching them? One that gives you more ammo? How about one that doesn't do anything except translate the entire game into French for some reason? There's a mask for every type of player.

The story of Hotline Miami is also a rather intriguing one, but I can't really say anything about it without spoiling it - other than the fact that I love how it plays out.

Overall, I cannot recommend Hotline Miami enough - if you're looking for a fun, yet challenging game, you've come to the right place.

I - unfortunately - was forced to buy this game when I got the Rayman Bundle on sale.

I tried beating this game in one sitting, I went into a dissociative state after it made me pull worms out of a Rabbid's teeth.

After quitting and having a strong urge to read the Bible (since I felt like I had wronged God Himself by playing this) I realized that all of my suffering was for nothing, as this game does not have Steam achievements.

I spent two hours playing this and it felt like two years, I genuinely wondered what time it was - I feel like I've gone mentally insane from playing this.

10/10

Before all the die-hard Five Nights and Freddy's fans start dog-piling me for giving this game a negative review, let me explain myself.

I want to like this game, and I want to give it a positive review - but I also want to be able to play the game in the first place, because the optimization for this game is actually worse than the optimization for the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta when that launched.

Sure, there's been a couple moments here-and-there at the start where I was able to move around with relatively no lag, but - in it's current state - between the horrific load times and bouts of lag that took upwards of 30 seconds to cull an area or load a couple textures, I honestly can't justify this game taking up 80 GB of space on my hard-drive.

I've also seen a lot of discussions posts about just how buggy this game is as well, which is honestly a shame. I get that - at the time of writing this - the game basically just came out, but for all the time it's spent being in development and how many times it's been delayed, I'm honestly disappointed.

However, I'm staying optimistic simply for the fact that this is a Five Nights at Freddy's game, and even though Scott has retired, there's no doubt in my mind that these issues will be resolved one day - the guy always listens to his fans.

But, as far as the game currently goes - I don't have the space to just let it sit here and collect virtual dust... So, in short; buy at your own risk, there have been people like me with some decent gaming PC's that are having these issues, and there are also people with higher-end gaming PC's that are also having these issues.

All the jokes and memes about this game aside I have to be completely honest here... Among Us was a fun game, I started playing it on mobile around the peak of it's popularity and eventually got it on PC to play with a couple friends... But now, it really isn't the game it used to be - and I'm not saying that because of the new roles or microtransactions - but because of the game's playerbase...

I've spent upwards of 5 minutes trying to find an actual match, but I'm either met with a lobby people doing some sort of FNaF roleplay, people using Among Us as a chatroom, or - worst of all, and most importantly - people who use Among Us to ERP... (Who are likely child predators, might I add...)

And while I do understand that there is just a small team behind this game, I hardly see that as an excuse to NOT have some sort of report button for lobbies and/or players... It needs some serious moderation behind it to stop that sort of behavior - especially in a game that so many small children play...

FNaF roleplayers and chat room substitutes I can live with, but not those people...

In short, no, in it's current state I cannot recommend Among Us to anyone... If Innersloth listens to their playerbase and actually does something to help combat those kinds of people, then I may very well update this review and recommend it... But that's a pretty big if...
