Early Access Review
Even ignoring the performance issues, the game still has a ton of problems:

-Loot is pointless. You get way too much money from quests, and can buy everything back at base. You find nothing of value in towns, besides some food and maybe basic weapons/armor that you can just buy anyways. There's no rare loot, no economy, and looting in its current state does not matter.

-Animation issues. Most of the movement animations in the game are complete garbage. Running/walking, etc., all look weird. The sound doesn't match the sprinting animation. The eating/drinking/reloading ones are fine, but everything related to the movement is miserable.

-Movement is terrible. Somehow both clunky and floaty. You get stuck on random rocks/twigs all the time for no reason.

-Empty Map. There's literally nothing on the map. Besides the quest areas, there is no reason to just wander or explore. No loot to find, maybe one or two enemies at a random house to shoot, but why even bother? Sure, flying in on the helicopter looks cool, but the vast majority of the map in its current state is pointless and needless filler.

-Factions suck. The towns for each faction are literally the same, just rotated. No equipment or uniform differences between the factions, meaning you are unable to visually identify allies unless you are always toggling your map. Can't reset your account, so if you choose the wrong faction from your friends, you are out of luck besides having to ask the devs on discord for a reset.

-Very buggy. As expected from early access, but people are buying $100 support editions, crashing, and losing all the loot from that edition of the game without any way of reclaiming it, including the secure container and everything in their stash.

-No PVP. Combined with the bad loot, bad faction visibility, and the huge map making traversing to enemy towns difficult, there is no incentive to PVP at all. It's clear this isn't a focus for the devs, and this game is intended to be bot farming PVE with the occasional touch of PVP every few hours.

TL;DR: Wait for a sale. Or if you're very interested, get the starter edition and see how it runs on your PC, and if you enjoy it. The two-hour refund window is more than enough to see the game in its current state.

Stretched out to prevent a 2 hour refund window. Decent writing, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they made a terrible ending.

Don't buy.
