I love seeing games like this. The creators had a vision, a concept and went with it. It's hard to discuss much about the world of Stray without spoilers but what you have is something that could've easily fell into well worn sci-fi tropes but thanks to it's new perspective, well written characters and cohesive design you have a real breath of fresh air here. Platforming and combat are generally very easy and my first playthrough took almost 7 hours, which felt right for the story that the devs wanted to tell here. Easy to recommend to fans of a good narrative, especially sci-fi fans, those expecting intense action/combat might be better to look elsewhere.

I'm around 16 hours in and I'm really enjoying this so far. It's not as deep as x-com 2 yet not as fast paced as gears tactics so it feels like it sits somewhere in-between the two. Voice acting of the enemies is pretty cringe and there are some really strange low fps/performance issues as others have described but hopefully (maybe) that'll be sorted with a patch.
