Tempopo is a fun and challenging puzzle game by Witch Beam! I've been a huge fan of Witch Beam's previous two games (Assault Android Cactus and Unpacking) so when I've played the Tempopo demo back in PAX 2022, I was hooked into it! After a few years of waiting... I can confirmed that it is worth the wait!

The game is like Lemmings mixed with Chu Chu Rocket as you place tiles/instructions on one of the 120 islands to guide your Tempopo whilst collecting the flowers that the protagonist (Hana) lost because she played a song so bad that it formed a tornado and blew them away! There are the directional arrows, lift, block, smash and push which may not seam like a lot but the possibilities are endless! There are moments that really had my head scratching, thankfully there is a hint system which tells you if you've an instruction you've placed is in the right spot.

I love the music theme in this game and the music itself is great as well! Hana is a conductor who lead the Tempopo who hop in sync of the music and the flowers they collect are also based on a music instrument which is rad! I love the cute art style as well!

It has a lot of puzzles spanning across 60 Islands for the main game and an additional 60 after completing the 60th Island totalling to 120!

I highly recommend you to check it out!

If you value free time, do not buy this game! Seriously it is addictive...

Jokes aside, Balatro is a game where you play poker hands to earn chips and your goal is to beat the blind's score. The magic of the game comes from the fact that you can manipulate and cheat luck almost! Jokers, Tarot Cards, Vouchers, hell even the booster packs are all useful given the right combinations. It satisfying once you figure out which cards and jokers work with what.

The music and art is quite mesmerising as well! If I have one criticism of the game, it would be that the tutorial cannot be replayed even if you create a new profile. It makes it a little hard to get my friends into the Balatro Cult haha!

Other than that I highly recommend this game!

As a fan of Witch Beach's previous game "Assault Android Cactus", Unpacking has been my most anticipated games of this year and it has lived up to my expectations!

It is a "Zen Puzzle" game meaning that there is no scores or timer to worry about. You spend your time unpacking items from boxes placing them in your home, the game doesn't tell you where you misplace the items until you've placed everything. I like the unique show don't tell method of storytelling which spans over the lives of the people in the rooms.

The attention-to-detail is also a thing to marvel at! If you've placed an item in front of a door or cupboard, the door will budge. The sound effects are subtle yet immersive, from picking up the item and placing them down. Hell some of them even make a rattling sound when you shake them. The pixel art is a beauty to look at, it really makes you feel like you're at home!

I would highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a short relaxing experience

Times Infinity is an action Visual Novel slice of life story featuring quirky characters and an interesting world.

It follows a young college girl Para as she wakes up from bed to seeing a mysterious figure in her dorm. What do they want and why? It's up to you to find out!

I like the aesthetic that the game is going for, the GUI is boasting with charm and style! The story and world is also interesting, I would like to see more of the characters including Jazmine who is my favourite throughout this story.

If there's one thing that needs improving, it's the controls. When you enter first person view (which is required for progressing), it points the direction the character is facing rather then the camera which makes sections requiring the camera a bit hard to play.

I reckon the game could easily be sold for $5 as I've gotten plenty of playtime out of it, check it out!
