While I have no doubts that RDR2 is a phenomenal game, both story-wise and graphically, there is a singular deal-breaker bug in which any event that causes the active window to switch critically breaks keyboard inputs when RDR2 is running, both within the game and in Windows.

I've consulted with Rockstar Support, and I was immediately met upon a response from a Rockstar Support agent that was ENTIRELY AI-generated ( see image at https://e-z.tools/5pdbyprt.png ). Unfortunately, all further attempts to troubleshoot were ineffective. A request to unlink my Steam account from my Rockstar account was created, and I am currently in the middle of processing a refund.

T.L.;D.R.: I have no doubts that the game is great, but the bugs are dealbreakers from the start and the support from Rockstar is far from optimal.

While it does have its fair share of jank and requires some SERIOUS computer specs to play, Ready or Not is definitely a phenomenal SWAT-style tac-shooter that the market was missing since SWAT 4. If you play SWAT 4, the controls will take a little bit of time to get used to, but the core mechanics that make it so beloved are still there, and it has its own charm.

T.L.;D.R.: If you're looking for a SWAT 4-esque experience brought to the modern day, Ready or Not is where it's at. Make sure you bring some patience and a supercomputer, though.

The game can be insanely buggy at times, but it's optimized extremely well (mostly), and it's such a timeless masterpiece with the game mechanics and story that I'd honestly jump onto a live grenade if it were to protect the game's source code. Hope you don't have a potato for a PC if you plan on playing, though. And get comfortable with grinding for HOURS, DLCs, game crashes, restarting your PC, and weird jank with Windows if you play. But all that aside, 10/10, best co-op FPS I've ever bought, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I did not receive this product for free FROM THE PUBLISHER. I simply won it in a third-party giveaway.

With that aside, it's an alright game, and it has a good storyline, but the AIs are a little weird. You can sometimes "tail" tenants into their home by ringing the doorbell and following them in, which can lead to kind of softlocking yourself where you can't open any doors or climb through any windows to get out.

Bugs: It ain't 2077, but it's not perfect either
Gameplay: Pretty good, somewhat grind focused but has some good tension points
Overall rating: 4/5 stars
