The horror in this game is very good, the music, the monsters and the ambiance make you feel like you are the character in the game which creates a nice spook factor whenever you are caught. It does have some negatives like the clunky movement (which you can get used to, but it's still a turnoff when you first start playing the game) and the amount of handhold you get trough the puzzles which can take away from the horror.
Overall i think it's a very well made game that branches off in a good way from the simple FNAF game formula.
