It's more what I was expecting

Good game, but I really wish it had more content and the development is slow, haven't seen updates in ages for this.

It seems like the devs gave up on this game, quite a shame :(

It has potential as many other thousands of early access games, will it work out will depend on how hard the devs want to work on this and how much funding they will get, because if that dries up, the game dies at its infancy.

I bought the game knowing about them bugs, jankyness etc, but I bought it anyway, because it looks like a nice project and I wish all the best wishes for the devs to succeed in bringing up the quality of the game to acceptable standards.

As for my experiences, been playing it solo, getting the grasp of things and so far the early game felt very grindy to get anywhere beyond having a horse. That's both good and bad, bad - it's tedious, good - there's at least something to keep you occupied. Haven't gotten off the planet yet, so I can't comment more at this time.

It's a meh game, the price is ok, content is for the most part copy/paste stuff, but so is stuff in many AAA games out there.

I wouldn't recommend to anyone who's struggling with money to buy this game, but if you have some spare change and want to take a risk on another early access title and not be salty for it, go for it. We don't get a lot of games, that allow exploration of multiple planets, traveling through space, owning space ships and building bases.

Started playing the expansion and what do I get, about half an hour later:

"Unexpected error occurred while joining the session. Please, try again later." - and that's playing single player with option for friends to join.

Seriously, developers should stop releasing eye candy DLCs and "Campaigns", but focus on fixing their game code!

I had faith in these developers, they had a vision, I bought this game many, many years ago when it first came out on early access and still it hasn't imrpoved much in terms of stability for gameplay, nothing more than a contraption building simulator.

Please devs, please, give a lot more love to the game code or just give up and start making Space Engineers 2 from ground up with clean code on a stable and modern game engine.

The Chapters 4, 5 & 6 that they added in the 1.0.0.0 throws out the window everything that the game was in the first 3 chapters and the bulk of the gameplay is basically a walking simulator, making you run through various stations corridors back and forth from your ship docking point and whatever is inside those stations through winding and linear corridors.

I was really looking forward to their promised big 1.0 update, but I'm so disappointed, no new base building pieces and the freedom of exploration in the last chapters is just not there compared to the first half of the game, it's like the other half is a completely different game tacked on.
