TL;DR: Play it! Game's good!

Sonic Gens is a masterpiece of a game, this remaster doesn't change that fact. I do wish there was more new content on the Sonic Gens side of things; but I can't complain about a good port that runs well. Especially considering the Shadow Generations side of the game.

Shadow Gens has a lot to offer, fun gameplay, good music, pretty decent story premise. This brings me back to when sonic games had multiple story lines that did their own thing but intertwined. So I think Shadow Gens did a good job connecting itself with the Sonic Gens portion. Sonic Team can rest easy knowing they did a good job with this one. Looking forward to the next one.
