One of the most immersive and fun PC VR games to come out recently. In a time where every game that comes out is either a fantasy combat RPG, a half baked zombie survival game, or some game ported from the Quest, its very nice to play a game that's decided to utilise the hardware its on and try to innovate on its genre.

Fun game honestly, offers about the same amount that overwatch did when it first came out and is about the same price, but instead of fun sized gambling in the form of loot boxes or a FOMO inducing cosmetic store with 20 dollar skins, the devs decided to let players unlock items through a more old school leveling system. Getting put in games with a red connection doesnt hinder me as much as I thought it would, usually the worse that could happen is dying half a second after I went behind a wall, but as the TTK in this game is not near instant its an uncommon occurrance. Gunplay is faster and more mobile than overwatch, I like how every characters movement abilities are unique to them (dodging and jump modifiers). Abilities are solid, im glad as well that they didnt tack on ultimates because in most hero shooters an ultimate is just a kill this one guy button or a complete waste when your playing with randoms.

Overall I've enjoyed my time with this game and it genuinely had a lot of potential to move the needle against these other games that do the bare minimum and charge stupid prices for content since review bombing them does almost nothing, Gigantic had the same consumer friendly approach with its rerelease and it also didn't fare, guess its back to premium skin prices with Marvel RIvals.
